In the tradition of
Alfred Eisenstaedt, Robert McGee is a photographer who likes to
"capture the moment." He believes that there is something
almost magical about capturing that brief moment in time that will never
be again and tries to see every photo assignment as an opportunity to do
just that. He prefers the 35mm and digital formats for that reason but
says that there is still a need for larger photo formats where
resolution and color are more important than instant results.
Robert has a passion for
photography and likes to take every chance he can to find the right
picture. "The hardest part to being a photographer is being in the
right place at the right time, thats the real work." And to that
end, Robert can be found almost anywhere in Austin, the town he loves,
or searching other parts of the world trying to find those moments that
would otherwise be lost in time.
