Overview

The Explorer line is designed for extreme versatility in outdoor photography. With its variable leg angle settings and offset centre column fixing that allows the camera to be swung through 180 degrees (from vertical via horizontal to upside down) it will keep your camera steady in the most improbable of locations and allow you rapidly to frame shots that would otherwise be out of your reach.

Each tripod has been designed especially to withstand a specified maximum weight of equipment, which is assessed as being placed above the centre of gravity of a fully extended tripod. The diameter of the top tripod leg section is the key to this and determines the Series range, weight loadings and application. To choose the correct head, you simply match the second reference number of the head to the second reference number of the tripod.
